Are you uncertain about life?
Is your personal situation in particular causing you undue stress? Are news media reports, headlines, and government stalemates disturbing you?
If your answer is “Yes,” then please read this Blog carefully and more than once.
The Lord spoke to my heart this morning and said to encourage His people with these truths:
“My people should never allow the world system, challenges, opposition, or prevailing societal patterns to dictate what I can or will do for them. On the contrary, I am depending upon each one of them to cooperate fully with Me so that I can alter things in their favor!”He then led me to Psalm 5:12 in my Spirit-Filled Life Bible. It reads:
“But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; Let them ever shout for joy,
Because You defend them; Let those also who love Your name be joyful in
You. For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him
as with a shield.”
Wow, what a hopeful promise from our God of His ability to defend, bless, and surround us with His divine favor. His promise of blessing is based upon our “putting our trust in Him,” “loving His name,” and exhibiting an attitude of “joyous expectation” before Him.Now, here’s my first question to you today. Is your TRUST in the Lord? Or, is your trust in the news media, your employer, or some other situation or source? My second question: Are you joyful before the Lord? Or, are you discouraged?
Perhaps, you’re having difficulty recognizing the global transition the whole world is in? If you’re having difficulty with all the things going on in our world today, let me help you understand.
It is like the last hour of pregnancy. Within minutes before the birth of a child, the woman is in agony, tears, sometimes screaming to the top of her lungs. The pain she is being asked to bear is nearly unbearable. But, she knows she is only minutes away from having her desire fulfilled – the birth of her child.
Similarly, the earth is giving birth also at this time. Giving birth to what you might ask? The earth is in the throes of labor and spiritual ecstasy, about to give birth to the grandest child ever born – The Kingdom of God! This kingdom, under the Holy Spirit’s power and inspiration of Jesus Christ, is going to rule in far superior qualities than any former kingdom, the earth has witnessed. This kingdom, in every conceivable aspect, will far surpass the notoriety, power, wealth and splendor of every former kingdom.
It is being born even as Jesus predicted when He said, “I will build my Church (kingdom) in perilous times, but the gates of hell shall not prevail against it!” (Matthew 16:18) Indeed earthly times are perilous from man’s perspective, as we see the evidence of 2 Timothy 3:1 coming alive all around us.
“For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power.”
However, in the midst of this wickedness, we must understand that this is exactly the right grounds, the most fertile grounds, for the building and establishing of Kingdom enterprises, ministries, and fulfilling of prophecies and promises given to us by the Lord years ago.
To be alive on earth right now is more than awesome! Every Believer on this planet is poised to co-labor with Jesus Christ in the most spectacular unfolding and display of the wisdom, glories and riches of the kingdom of God. Wow! Give that a few days to sink into your understand because when it does, I guarantee that you will experience one of your life’s most defining Ahah moments ever!
The time is right to make some positive life choices that will determine your future and the fate of many nations. So, let your kingdom inspired dreams, visions, prophecies and promises be the things that you focus upon and stay motivated by. Daily, purpose to trust the Lord on a deeper level and keep pressing forward. It’s what keeps me focused and working diligently day and night. Purposefully shake off discouragement! Spend some time and reassess your promises.
Offer the Lord a “trust sacrifice!” Leap for joy in His presence and expect to be a recipient of His favor in unexpected ways. Life on earth is right on track with our Heavenly Father’s plan. Make sure you are too!
